I have a Pontiac Grand AM SE 4 door sedan. Had an accident and the front wheel is broken off, I took it into my local repair shop who is also a certified inspection place. They came back with repair costs of 1350.00. The car has 198000 miles on it. I have always kept up with the regular maintenance and repairs. I wondering if the cost of this repair is worth it or not. Thanks in advance.

Julie Kimes, General Sales Manager at O'Daniel Automart / O'Daniel Mazda Several items to consider. First use a service like Kelly Blue Book and find the current value. http://www.kbb.com/whats-my-car-worth/ That seems like a great deal of money to put into a vehicle with 198,000 miles on it. However, I don't know your financial situation. If you can afford to upgrade now would be a good time. If not perhaps look into used replacement parts to keep cost down.
