Maryann Croce, Owner at Croce’s Transmission Specialists Hi Lille, On your 04 Accord: The best thing to do when you have a check engine or transmission control sensor light is to have your vehicle professional diagnosed. This will take all of the guess work out. Manually shifting the vehicle is not addressing the problem. The professional diagnosis will include a road test to duplicate your concern and scanning of the computer to see what is setting the lights off. This is the first step to address your concern. Good luck.
