My 2011 Subaru Outback has 65,000 miles on it. the dealership is telling me that I need to get the transmission fluid changed, cost $250. do I really need to get it changed, and is this a reasonable cost?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amy Mattinat, Owner and Author at Auto Craftsmen Ltd Yes you should get the transmission fluid changed! $250 is way cheaper then replacing the transmission down the road.... and if you wait until you have 100,000 miles on this transmission, then the transmission service could damage the transmission.
