Bought this 2009 Honda from my grandmother. I've had it a year. It has 36000 miles. This week there was a sizable puddle of radiator fluid underneath. My repair shop checked the hoses and they are fine. So we've ordered a new radiator, but how in the world could the radiator give out with this few miles? No wrecks in it that I have had. My grandmother had at least one incident with a pothole, but it wouldn't take this long to manifest.

Amy Mattinat, Owner and Author at Auto Craftsmen Ltd Hi Ashley, You stated that the hoses were OK, but you didn't say that the radiator was leaking... just that it was going to be changed. Did your repair shop do a coolant pressure test to see that the radiator was actually leaking? You don't want them to replace a part, just because they can't find the leak. You need to have your Honda 's coolant leak diagnosed, so you can fix the problem.
