I just bought a 2012 Buick Enclave with 81,000 miles on it. What I am asking is can I safely change to a 5W30 Synthetic blend oil from Vavoline 5W30 regular blend oil. I am concerned about the mileage. Can I switch safely?
Yes, just stick with the manufacturers recommended viscosity of 5w30. Its ok to switch from synthetic to regular or visa versa.

Yes you can switch from 5W30 regular oil to 5W30 synthetic blend oil - no problem.

Yes, you can switch. The advantage is that you will be able to extend the oil change intervals to 5000 miles and synthetic will protect your engine. Make sure you go to a good mechanic who will completely flush out all of the old oil.

The mileage is low. As long as the manufacturer doesn't require you to use synthetic, you can switch to conventional.
