Depending on what transmission you have, you may have a closed system meaning there is no fill point unless accessed on the transfer case. There may be a small plastic cap that is removed to fill. Remember the only fluid level that is properly checked while running is your transmission fluid.

Each vehicle has this information shown in the owner's manual. Most of them are labeled, i.e., oil, radiator, etc. Check your manual for illustration.
