The threads on the axle (in the center of the rotor) on the passenger side, are they left or right handed threads? I have a 1996 Honda Accord and I cant get the nut broke loose.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Jeremy, Your spindle nut is right had threads and should be torqued to 134 ft. Lbs And lug nuts 80 ft. Lbs. I recommend a penetrating lubricant such as PB blaster and let soak before re attempting so you don't run risk of stripping threads. Apply light engine oil to the seat of spindle nut when you reinstall to prevent future seizing.
