Just bought a new 2014 Dodge Avenger and the key with alarm etc. Won't let me lock my doors nor open the the trunk. Then the radio keep going off and every time I set my radio clock, when get back in the car the time has reset itself. Why is that happening?
I recommend that you visit your local dealership, you may be in the need of a simple reprogramming of your remote.

If, as you say, this is a new car, you need to take it to the dealership. There is an electronic problem that could be related to many areas and needs a diagnosis. As a new car, this should be covered by your warranty.

Bring it back to the dealership, it's covered under warranty.
