Where is the fuel filter located on my 1999 Pontiac 2000? The car seems to lose some power when put in gear. It has been modified with heads, headers, cam, torque converter, injectors, tranny work & gears. When in park it sounds ok, but when put it in gear its sounds like a little hissing & a little vibration in steering wheel & as you are driving it feels sluggish & car has a jumping motion & appears to require more acceleration.

Gail Dunn, Owner at Women's Automotive Connection The filter is located between the rear bumper and the car chassis, just above the charcoal canister. It does have a quick connect, but there is a lot of "stuff" back there and can be hard to reach.
