Looking to replace my 2002 Jeep Liberty. Need ideas for new or slightly used cars to look at. I am 58 yrs old, live in chicago suburbs where parking is tight but travel many weekends 380 miles to house in Michigan. trips around town generally 1-5 miles. Work, store etc. Need 1) safe transportation 2) like to be seated high up. 3) good visability and pick up . 4)would like a bit mort comfort than Jeep sport 5) money not a huge issue as I only buy a car every 10 plus years, but would like to be Eco friendly if possible. Would like to spend 35 to 40 thousand. PS I so not have a garage, and do not enjoy washing car etc so beauty is not really an issue. Thanks. Linda
I can see having so many selections out there can be a little overwhelming. I recently had to replace my husband Jeep and my daughter also needed a vehicle. I work at a dealership that carries Dodge, Jeep, Ram, Chrysler, Audi, Porsche, Ford and Mitsubishi and Mazda. For us it was an easy choice we ended up with two new Mazdas. The new CX5 sounds like a perfect fit for all of your needs. There are several great sites to help narrow down your shopping list. (Edmonds, kbb just to name of few) Because you keep a vehicle for 10 years I would also suggest driving overnight, or even renting your top choices for a day just to make sure you are completely satisfied with the vehicle.
