I bought a Dodge Neon 2003 automatic almost 3 weeks ago. The person who sold the car changed the muffler before he sold it to me. The car had a little noise at first. Today, I started my car up and it drove alright until I stopped and put it into park. I started to drive again and I didn't press the gas when I reserved but it kept going even when I hit the break and I pressed hard. I pulled over and parked the car. When I start my car the check engine light comes on and sounds like a popping loud noise. What's the problem?
You need to have someone check it out at a full service garage.

It sounds like this vehicle has multiple issues. I would start by having the vehicle towed to a shop and checked out. If the vehicle was purchased through a used car dealer and it is under one month from date of purchase, it should be under some kind of warranty depending on the state.
