Is the battery on 1997 Mazda MX-5 a positive ground or negative grounded situation?

Patty Streeter,  at AskPatty.com The ground (negative) will have a big wire that runs/bolts to the sheet metal of the car right near the battery. In most cars it is red is positive and black is negative.
