Greetings, I have a 2003 Pontiac Montana minivan which in the past hasn't given me too many problems and has fairly good gas mileage. It has a 3.4 engine, but now a couple of different mechanics tell me the head gaskets need to be replaced......in other words, a lot of money. It has about 187,000 miles on it. I'm 62 and have preferred minivans in the last few years because I have an artificial hip and its easier for me to get in and out of a minivan, plus I like the extra room. Anyway, I don't think I want to put the extra money into this van and was wondering, in your opinion, which used minivan has the least problems or is the easiest to maintain. A friend suggested an used Crown Victoria, perhaps one previously used by law enforcement because he says they are pretty well 'bullet proof' or has the least maintenance problems. I really want a minivan but at the same time, prefer a vehicle I can really depend on. Please give me your opinion on this. Thank you very much for your help. blessings, Rick Harris

Jody DeVere, CEO at AskPatty.com, Inc. Dodge Caravan, Honda Odyssey or a Toyota Sienna are the top three minivans and I would suggest looking for a used one with low miles that comes with an extended warranty.
