When should the timing belt, serpentine belt, cooling fluid, transmission fluid and break fluids be changed?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Colleen McGee, Driving Instructor at Americas Driving School Hi Jim! The timing/serpentine belt should be changed every 60,000 miles, green coolant should be changed every 2 years or 30,000 miles red coolant every 5 years or 100,000 miles. Transmission and brake fluid every 2 years or 30,000 miles. Do Check your owners manual or your own mechanic for your specific vehicle as those are general recommendations. Colleen M
