My Subaru Forester is due for a new timing belt. My understanding is that generally the water pump should be replaced at the same time as the timing belt. What other parts should be replaced at the same time? (other belts, hoses, etc.)
Usually the water pump and thermostat are replaced with the timing belt. Depending on mileage, the spark plugs, air and fuel filters may also be due at this time. If the belts and hoses need to be replaced, now is a good time as most of it will have to be removed to gain access to the timing belt. If they are still in good shape, then can be left alone for now.

They make a 'timing belt kit' for your Subaru that has all the various parts and pieces that need to be changed with the timing belt.
The water pump lies under the timing cover/timing belt. At 90,000 if it is not worn out, it will be shortly, and changing it now saves you money and less down time in the long run.
Change the crankshaft seals and any other seals under the timing cover. (which vary from car to car) These rubber seals get hard and inflexible and should be changed now to avoid oil leaks which can ruin your new timing belt.
Change the Idler & Tensioner Pulleys. Little ball bearing pulleys that the belt runs over. Their life expectancy is approx. 100,000 miles.
Change any accessory belts if needed. Alternator belt Power steering belt, Air Conditioning belt

Your horn is behind the left side if your front bumper and relay is located just off fuse panel, gaurded by a 10amp fuse inside the fuse block in C77.
