My car continues to over heat. The fans work. I have replaced the thermostat in it twice now. When the car is in idle that's when it over heats. I have to turn on the heat and start driving to cool things off.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Johhny, You may need to have your heater core replaced, and a coolant flush performed. You may have deposits in the cooling system that cause your thermostats to be short lived and heater core clog.
