I am writing because I have a 2000 Honda Accord and I have been using synthetic oil. However my car now has over 300,000 miles and I would like to know is it safe to switch to a different oil. I personally prefer Castrol products. Please help.
Also I have a remote for a 20005 Yukon that does not work; is there something I can do on my own that could possibly make the remote work. Also I have a remote for a 2006 Z71 and would like to know if it would be possible to switch remotes between the two vehicles.
Thanks for everything especially your time in this matter and I look forward to hearing from you soon.
There are high mileage synthetic formula oils on the market, as long as you adhere to the manufacturers recommended oil weight at which it may be 5w30. If a battery replacement in your remote does not solve the problem, then you may need to visit the dealership for reprogramming. Remotes are not interchangeable in Make and Models.
