how often should transmission fluid and filter be changed on a 2007 impala under normal driving conditions

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Colleen McGee, Driving Instructor at Americas Driving School Hi Tom the transmission fluid should be flushed every 2 years or 20-30,000 miles. The radiator fluid should be changed every 2 years or 30,000 miles if it is the green coolant. The orange or red coolant can last up to 100,000 miles but some people advise to still have it changed closer to 50,000 miles. Happy Driving! Colleen M

Karen Salvaggio, Owner/ Editor Thunder Valley Racing and Professional Race Car Driver at Thunder Valley Racing Every 100,000 miles if under light or normal driving. Extended use, or heavy hauling of any kind, and it should be changed every 50,000 miles. Best of luck!
