Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Debbie, You may need to check your idle air control valve. At times, these can fail and cause the same symptoms as a failed fuel pump. You can first locate and remove to clean the head of the IAC valve of carbon deposits. If it runs, even for a short period and cuts off then replace with a new one.
