I have a 95 Ford Taurus. Somehow my washer fluid keeps getting contaminated, by what looks to be dirty coolant (I don't really know). I keep the car in a garage and apart from a drip or two nothing seems to be leaking, nor does there appear to be anything overtly wrong with the hose set up just as they should be. Have you dealt with this before? Can you help now? Blessings, Karen

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Karen, You may need to flush the plastic washer fluid reservoir, there may be build-up in the bottom, or your hoses.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Karen, The washers are really it's own system, meaning that it's not connected to anything that could leak into it. Are you sure no one is trying to help you out by adding fluid and putting the wrong solvent in? Lori Johnson
