I am getting a high pitch whistling noise that starts above 40mph by the driver's side window. It sounds like a window leak, so i placed electrical tape over the top of the window glass and closed it, then drove to 40mph, but the noise is still there...any ideas? Also, the care does have a moonroof, but the sound doesn't appear to be coming from that area, more like it's coming from the driver's side window. Thanks!

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Emma Silvera, co-owner at Star Motors Hi Richard, The noise could be coming from the seal between the door and the body of the car. Best to have a mechanic check it to be sure. Hope this helps!

Jo An Holt, Automotive Journalist at Holt & Associates Without knowing make/model and year, this is a guess. Could be a door seal or a simple adjustment. You need to have an experienced trim technician diagnose it, or you could possibly end up costing yourself more money.
