I bought a 2009 Ford Focus on August 15th, 2012. Today the dealership told me the loud noise I am hearing when I turn the steering wheel are the strut bearings. Is this true and how many strut bearings does a car have and should they replace all of them or just the ones that are making the noise. Also, how much should this cost in Canadian dollars to fix.
In the front end, you have (2) strut bearings, that are seated on top of the spring/strut. I am not certain what your market price is in Canada, but if you call around for various quotes you should have an average price.
Hope this Helps!
