Hello, I just recently read about reason why the battery wasn't holding a charge overnight. It happened that the trunk couldn't open. so it was modified not sure exactly what was done to it but I believe that is the reason the battery is draining. Could you please let me know if there is a way to disconnect the trunk light from turning on? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Jordan, You may have an electrical connector running to the light, that can be disconnected. You may also have a parasitic load, meaning that you have a small electrical draw on the battery coming from a wire harness.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Jordan, The simplest thing would be to remove the bulb. You could also unplug the wiring if you can get to it. If the fuse only works the trunk light, remove it. Lori Johnson
