I own a year 2000 Audi A4 1.8T quattro Rear right wheel / drum noise - It sounds like a hollow drum / squeaky spring sound , usually when I go over an uneven surface . Also, tires - 2 yr 7 months old P205/60R-15 Goodyear Assurance TripleTred all 4 were new. for some time now, front wheels have low air & right front wheel loses air despite being repaired. / patched. Do I need to replace tires ? Car otherwise driving Ok.

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Shalu, Thank you for writing into AskPatty! To address your concern; sounds like you may need a 4-wheel brake inspection and have your shocks inspected also. You may have a failing patch/plug on your right front tire, this should also be inspected. It is important to regularly rotate your tires, typically every other oil change. If you do need to replacfe your tires I recommend keeping the best one for a future spare if need be. Hope This Helps!! A. J. Valle
