When I turn my heater on to the second level it makes a squeaking noise. Is this dangerous?

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Florence This sound may be caused by your blower motor in the dash. This is a squirrel cage type that forces air through your vents. At times you may hear reverberations or feedback from this blower motor it is more annoying than dangerous.

It shouldn't be dangerous, but maybe a sign that the fan is on it's last leg. I would use it until it stops working and then replace it. Unless it's annoying to you of course. Lori Johnson
