I need to know what is wrong with my car. I have been to 3 places and they do not know their info. I had my axles and serpetine belt changed and right after that my car will jump forward after stopping and rattles. What did they do to my car?
Your idle may be too high, or your belt tension may be too tight.

You should first try to take it back to the shop that did the work. Have the technician ride with you and show them the problems you're experiencing. If the problem stems from the work they did, they need to fix it.
If you don't feel comfortable doing that you can search the Ask Patty website for a female friendly service area or find a shop with ASE certified technicians by going here http://locator.ase.com/blue/
I know this can be frustrating, but hang in there and find a place that you feel comfortable with.

This does not sound like an ordinary problem. I would suggest bringing your vehicle to a qualified technician that will actually ride in the car with you and be able to experience the symptom first hand. If you are having trouble finding a reliable technician, ask your friends or family members who they trust. You can also check out the Ask Patty web site to find female-friendly shops in your area.
