I have a 2004 dodge ram 1500 with a power steering leak. Does the line from the power steering pump to the rack have o-rings or clips?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Dan, Typically you should be dealing with clamps they are tension clamps that require a pair of pliers.

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Dan, I would suggest that if you are doing this job yourself you get a service manual for this vehicle. Power steering systems are under high pressure and this manual will show you how to do the job safely and what is involved in removing and replacing parts.
