Hi,I have an 06 Toyota Tacoma Pre-Runner truck. The outside temperature light at the top does not display anything. It is just dark. Is there a fuse burnt out or something I need to replace? I have only had this truck 8 months and it worked fine when I first bought it.
I hope it is something I can fix myself.
Thanks for your help. You have a fantastic website. I love it!!!!!
There are some models that have a button on the rear view or control panel up top that you can turn this feature on/off. You may need to just check to see if you have the feature in the off mode. Thank You for your support in the website we are glad that you like it! Let us know if this solves your problem. If there is not button your ambient air temperature sensor may be malfunctioned.

The temperature sensor may be unplugged or has gone bad. The sensor is located behind the grill or should be if that is not it it*s a fuse the list of the various fuses is in your owners manual. If it is less than 3 years old or less than 36,000 miles, it should be covered under a factory warranty.

Hello Jan- the problem maybe a bulb behind the display(if it is backlit)- if it is a LED display the LED itself may need to be replaced- hope this helps-thanks Super Girls Auto.
