I have a 2008 Passat. There is a dash warning light that looks like the frame of a car with a funnel on the upper right hand side (all in yellow). I have gas in the car. Do you know what this means? Thanks - Eric

Laurie Sarno, Co-Owner at Super Girls Auto Good morning Eric, This was a tough question- I have never serviced a newer Passat- so after looking online to no avail- I called VW America direct- the gentleman on the phone informed me that the light means your fuel cap is loose- if after tightening the cap the light does not go away you may need to purchase another fuel cap- or you may have an evaporative system problem- which on a 2008 should be covered under emission system warranty - sorry it took me so long hope this helped- now if you ever want to get in contact with VW America their phone number is 1-800-822-8987- have a great day.
