how can i reduce road noise?

Patty Streeter,  at AskPatty.com Changing tires, getting your wheels balanced and rotated can make make a huge difference with road noise. Look for a tire that has soft thread or rubber, which usually will mean it has shorter longevity, but the road noise will be dramatically improved (reduced). It will also help your traction. Chose taller side walls they can absorb the bumps, and uneven roads better than low profile tires.
