I have bought 6 Subarus from the same dealer. My last car blew its engine because the oil plug fell out although they do not know how. The dealer did all the service on this vehicle and Subaru has offered to pay 75% of the costs. I think they be covering the whole service since no one has touched the engine but the dealer? The car only had 79,000 miles!

Shelly LoCascio, Dealer Principal at Irwin Lincoln Mercury Mazda I think 75% is quite generous. If the oil drained out of the car, the oil light should have come on or the check engine light. These warning lights are let the driver know they have a problem. If you ignored these lights and kept driving this would be the reason the engine blew. The dealer has no control over a driver driving his car when the oil light is on etc. This is the driver*s responsibility so again if this is the scenerio....75% is a hot steaming deal. Shelly
