Hello, I own a 2000 Chevy suburban 1500 w/112 mi. I am thinking of getting the AC fixed since last year it did not work at all no matter what we did. how much does something like that cost?

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Maria, Not knowing the source of the faulty A/C an estimate for repair would be difficult. It might be You may have a leak in the line, (check all the high side and low side caps). You may have a malfunctioned compressor and/or compressor clutch. I suggest you have a repair shop inject dye into the system, that can be found with a black light to better hone in on the breach in the system.
