I went to jiffy lube for an oil change...if I need to add more oil to my car, how do I know which one to use? I did not choose any special oil so do I use reg oil? thanx!

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Stephanie, Check your owner's manual for the proper type of oil. Most VW's use synthetic oil. If this is true for your vehicle, make sure that's what they put in and that's the type you buy. You cannot mix regular oil with synthetic so it's important that you know what your vehicle takes.
