What is a reasonable amount to pay to replace a sway bar in 2000 Subaru Outback wagon?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Patty, It looks like the part is around $160.00 and it pays about a half hour to install. So, depending on the labor rate of the shop, I'd say around $200 or so. A great website to use to look up repair prices is http://repairpal.com/ Unfortunately they don't have a repair listed for a stabilizer bar. But if you ever need to look up anything else, it's a great resource. As always, don't be afraid to shop around. Once you know the problem you can call and ask prices for parts and labor at different shops. Good luck. Lori Johnson www.ladiesstartyourengines.net
