My car was serviced recently and the coolant temperature sensor and the coolant level sensor were changed to new ones. When I drive the temp gauge still shows running hot and goes all the way red and sometimes beeps. As I drive it goes up and down especially at stop lights where I put it in neutral then it does not move.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Darlene, Return to the repair shop that performed the original repair, apparently there is something else going on. How is the function of your water pump? When you are stopped at a light the temp will rise because you are not moving therefore no air is traveling through to cool. You need to contact the repair facility ASAP and voice that the job was not performed correctly and that you expect them to fix it right, which should be at no cost to you. AJ Pierce
