I'm looking for a SUV/Crossover that has a third row of seats, gets reasonably good gas mileage and rides like a car and not a truck. I also refuse to buy a minivan. I would also like something with good resale value but I don't think I can afford a Honda Pilot or Toyota Highlander.
There are many choices for you and I'm not familiar with all of them. I would suggest you check out Mazda CX9. I know they are having a promotion this month or Mercury Mountaineer. The Mazda is a crossover and the Mountaineer is a midsize suv.

3 rows of seats, rides like a car and gets good gas mileage. That is a tough list to fill.
Guess it depends what you mean by good gas mileage.
Here is a list of 3 rows of seat vehicles.
I highly suggest you test drive each vehicle you are interested in and look up their specs online.
Here is a very interesting website: www.littleseats.com
They have the third row seat you can add to the following vehicles.
-Jeep Grand Cherokee
-Hyundai Santa Fe
I vote for the Honda CRV.
I just LOVE this car!
All My Best,
