My car has a knocking in the front end when it starts reaching 60mph, then levels out at 70mph. The wheel shakes slightly. The car does not pull to the left or right when driving or braking. What could be causing this?

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA Audrey, You may have a bad tie rod end, or you may look at your harmonic balancer. AJ Pierce

Suzanne Grego, Technician at City of Philadelphia Fleet Management Audrey, Without experiencing this problem first hand, it's difficult to say for sure what's causing the shaking. It's possible that it could be as simple as an unbalanced tire. I do suggest having your vehicle looked at as soon as possible by a qualified technician. This is a safety issue and it should be addressed promptly. Suzanne
