Engine management light on but computer cannot find fault.

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Amanda J. Pierce, MBA M., Sounds like you may need to change the oil. There is a light that kicks on when your mileage interval is due. You may have gone to a quick lube that failed to reset that light, check in your owner's manual for procedures. AJ Pierce

Suzanne Grego, Technician at City of Philadelphia Fleet Management M Diplacito, First, check your owner's manual to make sure this is the check engine light that is on. A lot of manufacturer's, including Ford, are adding a change oil light that is often confused with the check engine light. If this is indeed the check engine light, I would suggest bringing the vehicle to a Ford dealership where they can scan for codes using a Ford specific scan tool. Suzanne
