Dear Patty, We just purchased a new CTS yesterday and are due to pick it up this evening. I am turning in an 2005 Cadillac and we can't find the title!! We live in NY, both cars were purchased in NY (different dealers though) Will they release the car to us without the title? Can I sign a power of attorney/release form that the title go directly to the dealership. Your "speedy" help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Carolanne

Jessie L Thatcher, F&I and Sales Specialist at Reynolds and Reynolds Company (Retired) The majority of states will allow you to sign a power of attorney for the dealership to get a new title, hopefully you called the dealer prior to delivery to verify what you needed to do in this case.
