Could be a number of possible issues, if it will crank and not start it may be a possible faulty fuel pump, crankshaft position sensor, a cam shaft position sensor. It sounds like you may have to check fuel pressure, perform a compression test on all cylinders, and confirm spark. Formula is spark+air+fuel= running vehicle
