How do you take off the old blades on the 2002 L300 and replace them with new blades?

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Sheila, To remove the blade insert, you need to pull on the insert from the bottom of the blade. This will be the end closest to the windshield once you raise the arm away from the windsheild. Make sure when you put the new inserts in that they slide and catch in all of the little "claws" on the wiper so that they are tight. You'll see that there are caps on both ends that should come off. They recommend replacing them, but I would try to re-use them if you think they'll stay on. Hope this helps. Lori Johnson P.S. If you buy them at the dealer and then ask someone in service to put them on, it's usually free and you can see how to do it yourself next time.
