My vehicle is a 1995.
Check Engine Light comes on infrequently.
Noticed tranny fuild and antifreeze on the ground.
Other than the light coming on truck runs fine.
Truck never overheated. What could this possibly be?
You should take this vehicle in and have those leaks checked out. Any time you loose fluid you run the risk of causing damage to your vehicle.
Loss of antifreeze can cause the vehicle to eventually overheat and transmission fluid loss may cause shifting problems.
As for the check engine light, this only comes on if there is a problem. If the light is not staying on it may still set a code that a scan tool can detect to let you know what turned it on.
All of these things can be diagnosed by a technician.
