I drive an 03 Ford Focus, and my heater is warming. The a/c is fine, but it's snowing today in Texas, and I can't get warm. What do you think is the problem with my car?
Dear Sandy,
You say your heater is warming, but is it getting hot? Look at your temperature gauge on the dash and see if it's reading about in the middle. If it's hovering more towards the cold line then you make have a thermostat that is stuck open.
When this happens you feel air that's warm, but never gets really warm.
The other thing it could be is that your heater controls are not working properly and it's not opening a blend door to allow the heat into the vehicle. These are just a couple of ideas for you to check. Good luck in the snow!
