I want to let you know that you helped me last week with my blend door problem and I can manually close it so I can get heat. A day or two after doing that I am having a new problem. I am using the air conditioner and now when I make a left hand turn water starts leaking out on the floorboard on the passenger side. I asked a friend and they think it might be my heater something or another is open or not closed while my cold air is on and it is creating condensation that is leaking on the floor. Could you please help me in this matter? It is a 2001 Mit. Galant. Thanks.
The evaporator for the a/c is on the passenger side of the vehicle.
There is a hose connected to the evaporator that goes through the
floor of the passenger side to drain the water.
Look under the dash and see if that hose has come off. This would
cause water to come into the vehicle. If the hose is connected, then
you may have to take it somewhere and have them blow air up the hose
to dislodge a blockage.
Most times this hose is knocked off by someone's foot and is easily fixed.
