Having trouble finding the problem with the lights on the dash. Do you know if there is a fuse. I did have the car to my auto mech. He ordered a part from Chrysler that did not fix the problem. I emailed Chrysler and there answer was take it to a dealer. (of course). Any suggestions.
On the driver's side there should be a fuse panel. It looks like fuse #7 is for the instrument panel lights. Check to see if this is bad.
If the technician who worked on your vehicle did not fix the problem, you should not have to pay for the work. It sounds like he may be guessing.
There may also be a problem with a bulb in the instrument panel.
There is also a dimmer switch on the dash, you want to check that as well.
