I need a best buy for my daughter for fuel efficiency and reliability in the $10,000 price. No specific make or model in mind, I need direction.

A couple of ideas- check for preowned deals on Honda or Toyota models- Several other models come to mind,
Some manufactures offer a rebate- do your homework but you should be able to find plenty of deals that offer a price break with dependability.

Try the Chevy Aveo. This is a great entry level car that gets super mileage and the factory warranty will offer you both peace of mind.
