I have a code 72 from the pcm and the mechanic told me he doesn

Answers from the Automotive Experts

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Shaniqua, Is this a check engine code? If so, it should be 3 digits. So the number could be P0172. I would need the year, make and model, along with the engine size (4 or 6 cylinder) to tell you what this code is. You would have to get the correct code from the technician. If he is not sure what he's doing, it may be best to take your vehicle to a certified shop or dealership that understands how to use a scan tool. Lori Johnson
