I have a 2003 Honda CRV. I had started it and started to back out of the garage. I put it back in park to get out for a second. It started to go backwards and hit my garage. I think that it jumped out of park. It would have run over me if I had tried to get out of it while it was in reverse.

Amy Mattinat, Owner and Author at Auto Craftsmen Ltd Kermit, I question whether you got the car into park all the way. Have you tried to duplicate the same situation to see if it would respond in the same way? If you are able to get the CRV to "jump out of park" again, I suggest you take it into the shop ASAP! Best of Luck, Amy Mattinat
