I have a 2001 Dodge Neon and the rear right tire is wearing on the out side edge. My boyfriend says it needs to be adjusted (camber he said) if possible. Can you tell me if that is true and how to adjust it? Thanks Patty F. P.S. is it expensive?

Lori Johnson, Owner and Instructor at Ladies Start Your Engines Dear Patty, Tire wear can happen for various reasons. If only one edge of the tire is worn, then it is possible that you may have an alignment issue. If the tire is worn on both outside edges this is usually an indication of low tire pressure. It's best to get an alignment if there's a problem so that you don't continue to wear your tires prematurely. An alignment should cost you less than $100, don't be surprised if they want to replace that tire too. Find an ASE certified shop or dealership to do this work. Good luck. Lori Johnson
