I have a 2002 chevy silvarado. I am changing the tansmition fluid and would like to know if it is ok to use 75w-140 synthetic gear oil. it says its for lt. truck and suv*s. is this ok. thanks Stella

You can use regular or synthetic. You need to use what the manufacturer recommends so that you don't cause damage to the parts. Lori Johnson
